Í íslensku valdi ég mér kjörbók til að lesa. Bókin sem ég valdi mér heitir Leynilandið og er eftir Jane Johnson. Þegar ég var búin með bókina þá átti ég að skrifa bókagagnrýni um hana. Ég fékk blað frá kennaranum mínum og þar voru upplýsingar um hvernig ég átti að skrifa gagnrýnina og hvað átti að koma fram. Ég byrjaði á því að skrifa uppkast í stílabókina mína og síðan fór ég í tölvur og skrifaði gagnrýnina í word. Ég sagði frá því í stuttu máli um hvað bókin væri, hvernig mér fannst hún og smá um höfundinn. Þegar það var komið fann ég mynd af bókinni og höfundinum og setti inn á. Ég prentaði síðan gagnrýnina og límdi á karton.

Mér fannst þetta skemmtilegt verkefni og ég mæli með þessari bók og hvet alla til þess að lesa hana.

In English I have been working on a group project about animals. We worked on the project in a group and in my group were me, Heiðsís, Hildur and Hrefna. We chose to write about the piranha fish. We wrote about where it lives, how it looks like, what it eats and how it behaves. We split the project up into parts and worked two and two together on the diffrent parts. I and Heiðdís wrote about where it lives and how it looks like while Hildur and Hefna wrote about what it eats and how it behaves. When we were done with the text we did a poster on glogster.com and put the text, photos and a video on glogster. After that we did a presentation and presented it to our class.

This project was fun and I learned that the piranha can live in the wild for 25 years and that they somtimes eat their own babies.
